Dr. Chioma Ezenwafor

Dr. Chioma Ezenwafor is the Founder and CEO of SurThrive Media, a strategic communications and visibility consultancy based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. A media/communication professional with over a decade of experience, who has worked across Nigeria’s leading radio stations, including Cool FM, Wazobia FM, and 92.3 Nigeria Info FM, where she served as News Manager. She recently built an AI-powered visibility intelligence platform called VisibilityPilot.app where you can check your visibility status for free and fix your gaps. 

In 2020, she was named one of five winners of the IOM Reporting Migration Initiative in West Africa, supported by the European Union and the Africa Trust Fund. She is Edward R. Murrow Programme alumna, a TEDx speaker, and was named  News Editor of the year in 2019, Journalist of the Year (Radio) in 2023.

She holds a PhD in Communications and is the author of three books, Becoming a News Titan, Done Over Perfect and her latest work, The Visible Graduate.
