Dr. Shukurat Moronke Bello

Dr. Shukurat Moronke Bello, PhD, is an acclaimed management scholar, ethical finance consultant, and startup advisor with nearly two decades of experience in Nigeria’s academic and entrepreneurial ecosystems. She is an Associate Professor of Business Management and Entrepreneurship and has served as the Sub-Dean Academics for the Faculty of Management Sciences at Bayero University, Kano (BUK).

A highly qualified expert, Dr. Bello holds a PhD from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, is an Associate Accounting Technician (ICAN), and holds international certifications as a Shariah Advisor and Auditor (AAOIFI).

She is the Founder and CEO of Spark Innovation Hub and the Team Lead at Shafana Innovate Hub, where she focuses on pre-incubation and acceleration programs for young innovators. A winner of the Best Paper Award at the University of Dubai International Conference (2018), she is a prominent voice on women’s capacity building in Islamic finance and enterprise ethics.
