Oluwatobi Adeniyi
Tobi (The Integrity Maven) is the current Managing Director at Unilever Nigeria, and he has built a career in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Industry (FMCG) for over 16 years. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Manufacturer’s Association of Nigeria as Vice President (Multinationals) and has previously served as the Vice Chairman 1 of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria Export Promotion Group (MANEG), which is a group of Nigerian manufacturers who have joined hands together to promote Nigerian non-oil exports.
His vast experience spans from Sales to several aspects of the Supply Chain (Logistics, Strategic Planning, Demand/Supply/Material Planning, Innovation Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Cross-border Sourcing, Procurement, Factory Operations and Project Management).
Tobi has spent a fair share of his career working across Africa and Asia (Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia), and this has broadened his appreciation of cultural influences within the workplace. His passion is to continuously put Africa and African talent on the global map when it comes to strategy-into-action, processes, and performance, by demonstrating a pioneering spirit and virtuous leadership.
Tobi is a graduate of Computer Engineering (BSc.) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana and is currently pursuing an executive MBA at Warwick University. He has also attended executive training programs with Columbia Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, and Tuck Executive Education at Darthmouth.
He is an active stakeholder in fostering and enabling a community of FMCG practitioners across Nigeria. He is also a keen advocate for grooming and mentoring the next generation of professional talents in the country and occasionally serves in advisory/mentorship capacity for some Start-Up initiatives.
Tobi is married to Titilola (a lawyer/public servant), and they have 3 children. When he is not spending time with his family or at work, Tobi watches football and loves a good meal.
