The Future Awards Africa Independent (TFAAi) is officially unveiling the nominees for its inaugural state awards, spotlighting young leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, creatives, and changemakers who are making a real difference in their communities across Rivers, Abia, Oyo, and Kano States. 

The nominees represent an outstanding group of people whose work is making an impact across entrepreneurship, technology, education, governance, social impact, the creative industry, and community development. Through their ideas, leadership, and commitment to service, they are helping shape stronger communities and are inspiring others to do the same. 

Following a rigorous screening process that reviewed individuals making meaningful contributions across different sectors, including entrepreneurship, technology, governance, education, social impact, the creative industry, and community development, the finalists were selected based on the impact of their work, leadership, and contribution to the growth and development of their communities. 

As the state-based platform of The Future Awards Africa, TFAAi was established to bring the celebration of excellence closer to home, ensuring that young people making a meaningful impact in their communities are recognised and celebrated where their work matters most. 

The unveiling of the nominees marks another important milestone in the inaugural TFAAi journey and reflects their commitment to discovering and celebrating young people whose work is creating lasting change across Nigeria.

The nominees will be officially unveiled on August 2nd at 3pm across The Future Awards Africa’s Independent digital platforms.
