The Future Awards Africa Independent (TFAAi) is a state-level franchise and extension of The Future Awards Africa (TFAA), created to deepen our impact beyond the national stage. Through TFAAi, we intentionally engage grassroots communities across different states, identifying and amplifying individuals who are doing exceptional work in their fields but may not yet have access to major platforms or visibility.

The Future Awards Africa Independent is a prestigious recognition that celebrates excellence and innovation across various sectors of the African economy. Each award category highlights remarkable individuals and organizations driving impactful change in their fields.
PRIZE FOR EMERGING LEADER (UNDER 25)
This category recognises young individuals under the age of 25 who are demonstrating exceptional leadership and making a notable impact within the state. It celebrates people who are driving change, inspiring others, and showing great potential for the future.
PRIZE FOR AGRIPRENEUR
This category recognises young individuals who are making remarkable contributions to agriculture within the state. It celebrates innovative entrepreneurs who are using agriculture to create value, drive growth, and contribute to food security and economic development in Abia.
PRIZE FOR ENERGY & SUSTAINABILITY
This category recognises young individuals within the state who are driving innovation and impact in energy and sustainable practices. It celebrates those creating solutions that promote clean energy, environmental responsibility, and long-term sustainability for communities.
Target States
These state-level awards will highlight the unique strengths, industries, and changemakers of each state while maintaining the prestige, structure, and brand essence of the main TFAA.
