The Future Awards Africa Launches 2018 school tour
In preparation for the 2018 edition of The Future Awards Africa (TFAA), organisers of the awards, The Future Project (TFP) have launched its post TFAA activities starting with the school tour.
The School tour is focused on developing young individuals in leadership, career and active citizenship, began on Tuesday April 24, 2018 and will run through till May 31, 2018.
Alumni of #TFAA2017 paid courtesy visits to Supreme Education Foundation and Queensland Academy. The 2-hour seminar educated students on career planning and the opportunities available to evaluate and expand their job-related skills and knowledge.
“It is good to see these students driven by personal growth and excited about their future beyond tribal/religious differences, which is our theme for the awards. We are proud of the work our alumni are doing, as we begin to inspire and change the narrative of just what it means to be a youth in Nigeria,” said Bukonla Adebakin, Chief Operating Officer, The Future Project”.
The courtesy team included Bukonla Adebakin, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, The Future Project; Nancy Isime, winner, The Future Awards Africa Prize in On Air Personality (Visual) 2017; Femi Bakre, winner The Future Awards Africa Prize in New Media 2017; Timilehin Bello, winner The Future Awards Africa Prize in Media Enterprise; Chris Kwekowe, winner, The Future Awards Africa Prize in Technology 2017; Bisola ‘Lady Biba’ Adeniyi, winner, The Future Awards Africa Prize in fashion; Eromo Egbejule, winner The Future Awards Africa Prize in Journalism 2017; Vanessa Onwughalu, Nominee for Prize in Beauty; and Jeffrey Okolo, Programs Manager, The Future Project.
