Adekunle Hassan (31)
Adekunle Kunle-Hassan is a quintessential young leader and astute entrepreneur, passionate about technology and social impact in Africa which has informed his investment in digital technology for quality healthcare delivery.
He manages Summitech Computing Limited, a digital agency (software development, digital marketing, software testing and IT infrastructure) which has generated over 300 million naira turn-over in its three years of operation. It has a staff strength of 28 young professionals and has executed over fifteen projects for multiple clients which include Health Partners, Multichoice Africa, Filmhouse Cinema, Nubian Skin, Ebony Life, Enaro Energy, Joystix Entertainment and more. The company has grown quickly and consistently over the past year. Kunle has strategically built brand loyalty by cultivating sound client relations and building a strong dynamic team that creatively develops clients’ Ideas into solutions that meet their ever-changing business needs.
With his vision of building a healthier community, He is part of the leadership team of Summit Vision Group (Summit Vision, The Eye Shop, and Summit Healthcare Pharmaceuticals) which provide quality healthcare management services, an aesthetic eyewear retail experience and state of the art ophthalmic medical equipment. He is a director on the Board of Eye Foundation Hospital Group operating Nine branches across Nigeria with over 280 staff.
Kunle is a nation builder and has invested in youth empowerment through the Summitest Academy, a software testing training program that has enrolled over 100 trainees, equipping them with the requisite software testing skills in demand in Nigeria’s tech ecosystem.
Obi Ozor (30)
Obi Ozor is the co-founder of Kobo360, a logistics platform that enables individuals and businesses to request or schedule pickups of packages and track the drivers till they reach their destinations. Since its launch in 2016, Kobo360 has continued to serve SMEs and eCommerce platforms, leveraging existing infrastructure in providing cost-effective logistics solutions for these Nigerian businesses. This has been made possible through partnerships with key logistics players in the country such as Chisco Transport Group, DHL, UPS, Air France, KLM, SA Airlines, and a network of drivers all over Nigeria and Ghana. Kobo360 has also served close to 442 businesses, aggregated a fleet of 5882 trucks and moved 53.9 million kilograms of cargo since 2017. Kobo360 was recently admitted into Y Combinator’s (an American seed accelerator, which started in 2005) class of 2018, receiving equity investment from the seed fund and gained some working capital in the form of pre-seed funding led by Western Technology Investment. Africa Future Limited, a Lagos-based angel investment fund, also contributed to the round. Lagos-based Verod Capital Management has also joined to support the logistics platform.
Chika Madubuko (30)
Chika through Greymate Care has hired home grown developers to build Africa’s pioneer AI-powered on-demand platform for care, providing technology jobs and placing Nigeria on the fast-rising tech countries to watch in Africa. Greymate Care has shown measurable social impact since inception as it not only improves lives but provides jobs as over 1000 Nigerians have been trained and hired on the platform. Greymate aims to be the go-to choice for home care in Africa. Automobile manufacturing giant Renault has invested in Greymate Care and 520 people are direct users.
Olawale Ayilara (31)
In 2016, Olawale founded Landwey Investment Limited, a Real Estate Investing company with zero capital. Today, the company boast of over 22,000 realtors and consultants and over 2 billion in assets. In 2017, Landwey won the most promising real estate company of the year award at the City People Real Estate Award. On 19 August 2019, Landwey announced that it had acquired a quarter stake in an online platform for funding real estate projects.
Some of these lapses Landwey is contributing its quarter to solving in the industry include the trustworthiness of some companies, government issues and acquiring legitimate land documents. One of the achievements recorded is its zero debt profile. The company since inception hasn’t taken a bank loan and have a vibrant sales network of over 16,000 real estate professionals.
Tiwalola Olanubi (31)
Tiwalola is an award winning new media expert and the founder of DottsMediaHouse, an award winning digital agency established in 2014. Tiwa has led his team in the past 4years in the execution of almost 100 successful social media campaigns for global brands including HP Africa, PEPSI, 9Mobile, INTEL, Aquafina and the Netherlands Embassy.
Tiwalola has been listed on Guardian Life as one of the young minds disrupting the future, also featured on Vanguard Allure as one of the young CEO’s making waves in media. DottsMediaHouse received the award for best digital marketing company at the World Alliance Group AQAA Award 2018 & 2019.
In early February 2019 Tiwalola led his team to produce a first of its kind industry report in Nigeria tagged “The State of Influencers Marketing in Nigeria Report”, (www.nigeriaimreport.com). A report that surveyed over 1000 key industry professionals across the country. Tiwalola’s report was recognized at the Social Media Week 2019 as the first official influencer marketing report in the country with over 5000 physical copies shared and a reach of over 20,000 attendees, the report provided insights to brand managers, CEOS, Journalists, students, media experts. This report was recognised by Business Day, Punch, ThisDay e.t.c. and also mentioned as a reference in the New York Times and other international platforms.
In the last year, DottsMediaHouse has launched her own products including a co-working space for SME’s, and also a tech platform for influencers in Nigeria.
