Meet The Winners of the 18th Edition of The Future Awards Africa

The Future Awards Africa (TFAA), popularly known for celebrating the achievements of young Africans, has revealed the winners of the 18th edition. Held on Sunday, 10 November 2024, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, the prestigious award ceremony honoured exceptional individuals aged 18 to 31 who have made significant contributions across various sectors.

Themed “Celebrating the Great and the Daring,” the event was hosted by Tunde Onakoya, founder of Chess in Slums Africa and 2021 TFAA Prize for Community Action winner, and Veekee James, acclaimed fashion designer and 2023 TFAA Prize for Fashion recipient. Together, they guided the audience through a great night that recognised a wide range of achievements.

The event drew an impressive lineup of notable guests, including Adebola Williams, Omon Odike, Kehinde Ayeni, Adim Isiakpona, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Mai Atafo, Babajide Sipe, Adedayo Amzat, Ruth Kadiri, and Linda Ejiofor.

Key contributors made the event’s success possible; among them, Red Lantern brought the vision to life through seamless production, while renowned photographer Femi Akeusola artfully captured memorable moments. RA Production added a touch of glamour with impeccable red-carpet coverage, and Riquesa Africa’s (Nigeria’s leading experiential agency) expertise was instrumental in ideating and curating an unforgettable experience. Together, these contributors helped create an event that left a lasting impact on every guest in attendance.

Speaking at the event, Ayodeji Razaq, Executive Director of TFAA, said, “This year’s winners exemplify the spirit of creativity and strength that defines the African youth. Their contributions across diverse fields are not only inspiring but also very important in shaping the future of our continent.”

These partnerships show a shared commitment to advancing young talent and driving meaningful change in Africa.
